We are a small & private homestead not usually open to the public except for on these special Open Farm Days! This is when we open our doors for the community to come & visit our property, shop from our homemade goods, pet & feed our super friendly animals & even stay & play with some of the activities set out like painting & planting a seed to take home.
Most of our animals are out & about in a free ranging environment so you can interact with them up close! On our little property you will get to meet our many Chickens, 4 ducks, Quail Enclosure, our 4 Sheep, lots of little Piggies & can't forget our loveable farm dogs! Also our newest addition Buddy the Baby Cow! All are eager to play & eat all the snacks you may bring for them. We usually sell cups of animal feed for $1 each but you are also free to bring your own treats.
Here is a list of recommended snacks for each animal:
Sheep: carrot sticks,apple wedges, oats, crackers or wheat bread (too much white bread can make them sick), dark leafy greens.
Pigs: Any Fruit, Any Vegetable(no avocado or onions) they really love grapes and tomatoes! Pigs can also eat any bread, frosted shredded wheat cereal, powdered mini donuts are their #1 favorite snack lol.
Chickens & the other birds: bread,oats,dry cereal, fruit,veggies, most things are safe for them.
Cow does not eat anything but Milk at the moment so please Do Not offer treats to the cow!
Our Farm Dogs love when guests bring them doggie treats too!
Our address is 32607 Foxfire Lane Deland, FL 32720. When you put our address in to your gps make sure the location it's sending you to is off of st rd 44 in lake county. There is another street called foxfire in a different residential part of deland so sometimes people end up there in accident. The 2 streets next to our Foxfire Lane are called Ponderosa Ave and Dogwood. So please triple check that is where you are going before leaving your house! We will not be putting any road signs out because this is a ticketed event and we don't want people driving by to come.
Once you turn into Foxfire Lane our home is about 1 mile in, just continue to drive slowly, we will have arrow signs leading all the way to our property. We are on a dirt road, watch for oncoming cars. We are the only house with a chain link fence. My husband Tony will be at the Gate to check you tickets & allow you in to park. Most of the front yard is parking.
Our Shop is the red shed in the middle of the property (behind our house), I will be set up somewhere around there under a tent where I have all my baked items for sale. Inside the red shed you'll find all our jams, candles, soaps, and more! Well have little games and activites set up for you to play with as well. Don't miss our little photo area in the front of the property too! I will have 2 hay bales decorated with scare crows and pumpkins for you to take pictures with.
Our Chickens, Quails, Activities and porta potty will be located in this area. Then there will be a small gate leading you to the back of the property to visit the Sheep & Piggies! Make sure you close the gate back up once you've entered so that our dogs and sheep don't escape to the front Please!

Leashed Pets are allowed as long as they are ok with chickens running around everywhere,kids, and other large dogs..
Our property is pretty wheel chair accessible. The whole plot is grassy and flat in most areas. We have some sandy spots but other people with wheelchairs haven't had problems in the past.Our porta potty is a standard porta potty, not wheel chair accessible.
We will have hand sanitizers available and encourage you to use them before and after touching any activites,games, animals, items from the shop,food,etc. There will also be a handwashing area right next to the porta potty.
Tickets to Enter are a non-refundable donation to help out our small homestead. If we decide on cancelling because of really bad weather or other reasons then we will personally issue refunds or change the dates. However we will plan to be open Rain or Shine if at all possible.

Please Feed all animals with a flat hand, do not stick fingers in the animal's mouths.
Closed Toed Shoes, Bug Spray, Sunscreen etc, are all recommended. We are outdoors in all the elements. Make sure you practice social distancing.
Bring your tickets printed or on your mobile phone. Ticket will be scanned before entering property. Any one ages 2 and up need a ticket.
